IMPORTANT TERMS & CONDITIONS WHEN BOOKING:
Our tours are a mixture of historic information, entertainment and the potential for paranormal experience. We CANNOT guarantee that you will see, hear or feel a ghost. If we could do that we would be charging you a lot more money!
Our tours are approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hour duration in most weather conditions.
We do not supply wet weather gear and reserve the right to cancel if weather conditions become severe. In this case you will be notified within two hours of the tour start ( sooner if possible ) and you will be entitled to a full refund or you may choose to book another tour date.
You are required to be at the muster point 15 minutes prior to tour commencement ( details will be advised when making booking ). If you are running late we ask that you notify us via mobile ( 0411 357519 ) to ensure that we do not leave without you.
We try to avoid taking cash payments on the night of a tour – Full payments must be made before the commencement of the tour via direct deposit to ensure your booking is secured.
Please note: NO refunds will be given on cancellations made within 12 hours of tour commencement. It is your responsibility to notify us of your inability to attend in enough time to enable us to fill your spot on the tour with others who may be on our waiting list for that event.
Our tours are for adults 18 years and over however, on some of our tours we will take younger children as long as they are attended by a paying adult family member/legal guardian. Please enquire first.
On walking tours you are required to wear comfortable shoes and be fit enough to walk about a kilometer ( terrain includes hills ).
We will not accept anyone that is intoxicated or affected by drugs nor will tour guides tolerate disruptive or rude behavior. Be aware that you will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.
Cameras are encouraged ( you may get a great pic of a ghost ) but if you wish to use a video recorder we ask that you notify us via email prior to tour commencement. No recordings may be uploaded to You Tube/Facebook or personal or commercial websites without permission from NGT.
Please remember that we will be entering onto historic sites and therefore we need to respect our environment by BEING CAREFUL.
All additional costs, for staff engaged by historic sites ( not Newcastle Ghost Tour employees ) and for entrance fees are already included in the cost of the tour.
